Honda EM1 e Electric Scooter Revealed at EICMA 2022

With a plan to introduce 10 electrified models by 2025, Honda has revealed the first of those electric bikes at the EICMA 2022.The Honda EM1 e, where the "EM" stands for Electric Moped, and the "e" is for electric??... Anyway, details are quite scarce, but the brand has stated that this scooter will come with a Honda Mobile Power Pack, which essentially means that this scooter will get a removable battery. Honda hasn’t revealed any details regarding the capacity of this battery but states that it will provide "over 40km" on a single charge.Honda says that this scooter is targeted at a young demographic looking for easy, fun urban transport over short distances. The Honda EM1 e uses a hub-mounted motor. The electric scooter gets a large luggage rack at the rear, a 12-inch front wheel, a front disc brake, and a telescopic front fork. The lighting is all-LED and the instrument console is a simple LCD unit.This electric scooter will go on sale in Europe in the summer of 2023.
